Friends of the Schools

Friends of the School’ are a group of people who support the school and help raise money for additional resources to enrich the children’s education.

Friends of the School – Deaf Hill Primary

This organisation involves anyone who is interested in supporting the school. To date they have organised many events for children and parents and have also raised money for the school. We appreciate their continued support and are always looking for new members. If you would like to join Deaf Hill Friends or offer support please contact the school office.

Friends of the School – Kelloe Primary

Welcome to the Friends of Kelloe School

FOKS or ‘Friends of Kelloe School’ are a group of people who support the school and help raise money for additional resources to enrich the children’s education. In the past we have been able to help buy new playground equipment and resources for the classrooms and have plans to continue this as well as offering cultural activities for the children of Kelloe.

The group aims to do various fundraising events through the year such as the Christmas and Summer fairs, and seeks to organise a number of social events such as school discos and juice in the park, where children and parents can relax and get to know one another.

Parents, carers, staff and friends of Kelloe School are welcome to attend meetings and join in the various activities, all of which enhance the school environment and learning of the pupils greatly. FOKS promote a lively, active and fun atmosphere and would welcome any new faces to join them. If you are new to the area or to the school it is a great way to meet people and make friends. Even if you are busy and only have an hour to spare, this time will be much appreciated. Please get in touch with Ms Tiplady or at the main office.

Events and dates of meetings are displayed on the notice boards at our Early Years entrance and in the main entrance.
