Dear Parents and Carers,

I would just like to confirm that school will reopen for all pupils on Monday 8th March. We will return to the same procedures we had in school in December. As a further measure, due to concerns about the number of parents on the school site during dropping off and collection and the difficulty in social distancing, could ALL adults coming onto the school yards and paths please wear a face covering so that everyone feels safe.

I would also like to reassure parents that the safety of children remains our top priority. We have updated our thorough risk assessments to ensure school is as safe as it can possibly be – some of the key areas are:

  • Children will continue to be taught and socialise in class bubbles
  • We have increased cleaning in school and ensure key areas are cleaned throughout the school day
  • We ensure children are regularly hand washing/sanitising their hands
  • All adults in school are taking twice weekly Lateral Flow Covid19 tests
  • We follow strict Public Health Guidance regarding anyone with Covid19 symptoms and/or a positive Covid19 test result

We are very pleased to have all children back in school and would like to thank everyone for their tremendous efforts supporting the children with their home learning – we know how challenging it has been!

If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Stay safe and see you soon.

Mr P Newton

Following the Government announcement yesterday, we will be continuing our remote learning provision until at least the 8th March. Those key worker and vulnerable children still coming in to school will continue to do so.

05/01/21

Following the Government’s most recent announcement, school will remain closed to all children except Vulnerable and Key Worker children until February half term holidays.

Dear Parents and Carers

It is with regret that I have to inform you that school will be closed to all children except Vulnerable and Key Worker children until Monday 18th Jan. I will send out a more detailed letter late today to explain the decision and give further details. I apologise for the lateness of this decision.

Stay safe

Mr P Newton
